Today was a very busy but fun day for the girls and I. We got up and decided that we were going to have a picnic lunch. The weather luckily cooperated for us...although it was a bit chilly for August. We were pulling out of the driveway and I decided that we all needed to change into pants! Yes it was that cold. It felt like Fall!!!
We went to this really fun park. Its brand new and right outside the zoo. We met up with my friend Missy and her three kids...we have hardly seen each other this summer. Heck I have hardly seen much of anyone lately. This summer has been pretty tricky juggling my teenage daughters activities my two very busy little girls and my newborn. So anyways we met up and had a picnic. It was great accept for ALL the bees! They were swarming us, especially me for some reason. I was running around like a crazy lady!
From the park I met up with my mother and we went to mmm Starbucks. By the way I will have to rant about Starbucks soon. I read an article today about them and it sort of ticked me off! So anyways from there we headed to the hospital to visit my aunt who is thankfully recovering from her surgery. Abbie was a little nervous in the room, but Macy was full of questions!! And was so concerned:) What a sweetheart she is. From there Macy went to my mom's for her sleepover all by herself! She has been talking about it all week!!!
Lastly we went shoe shopping for Abbie's back to school shoes!! She decided on a new pair of high top Sketchers. They are so Abbie!! Funky and bright. They look like they are right out of the 80's. Its so funny because when Allie and I were at the mall a few weeks ago we saw the same exact shoes and we both thought Abbie would lOVE them!
Today was a very good day. Busy but good. I am hoping that I will get some quality time with Brent tomorrow;)
