Simplicity is bliss....

I am not sure where to start. I can say that over the past few months I feel like so much has changed. My eyes are now open wide as well as my heart. I just want to rid all of the stressful and NOT-important things from my life as well as my families. I want our lifes to be filled with love and respect for eachother.

I am learning that NOTHING in life is more important that God and my family. I want to teach my girls how to be good people. I want them to grow up to be giving and loving. Being a mom and a wife is the hardest job on earth. I don't care what anyone says. We as mother's have to set an example for our children each and every day. Its exhausting as well as rewarding. I wouldn't change being a mother to my girls' for anything in this world...but a little peace and quiet time would be wonderful:)

I have to say that in order to simplify my life (our) life I have made some choices. I am going to become more active in my church. I will surround myself and my children by positive and loving individuals. Not ones with hidden agendas or FALSE values. Another big step is I have decided to live on a strickter budget and not SPLURGE any longer. I have to say this is going to be VERY hard for me. Shopping is my therapy and weakness! But no longer. And to ensure that I won't spend outside our budget. I have CUT UP my credit cards! Gulp! It was like an out of body experience...I didn't think I could do it but I did! Now if they aren't in my wallet I can't use them right?? Our new motto is if we can't pay for it in cash...then we won't buy it. We will do it the old fashion way and SAVE up for it. It means so much more when you save your hard earned $$ for something that you reall NEED. And we are teaching our children in the process how to save and the importance of using money correctly.

Well I will have to blog more later. I am off to spend the afternoon with the girls at my grandparents house:) Only a few days before back to school:(
